All these hotels were centrally located within a 5 minute walk to the city centre and a 15-20 minute walk to NUI Galway where ECIS 2008 was hosted. This accommodation block was held from June 08 to June 10 inclusive at specially negotiated rates.
Due to the demand for accommodation in the City Centre, early booking was advisable. The closing date for booking accommodation from this special block was Friday May 02, 2008.
To reserve your accommodation, delegates were advised to contact the hotel directly by fax, phone or email before Friday May 02, 2008, informing the hotel reservation staff that you were attending the ECIS 2008 conference to avail of the rates negotiated and accommodation in the block. These rates did not apply for dates booked outside the accommodation block. If delegates contacted the hotels after May 02, rooms may still have been available, but the occupancy costs below may not have applied.

The city centre can be most easily identified on this map by zooming in and locating “Eyre Square Shopping Centre” – which is located in the city centre. The hotels below were selected on the basis of being conveniently located near the city centre.
